I’m Lorenzo Provinciale, an Italian business development intern at JET IT Services in Shanghai. My journey here started with a double degree between the University of Groningen and Fudan University, which gave me the chance to experience different academic and business environments. Moving from Europe to China was a conscious decision—one that pushed me beyond my comfort zone. I wanted to immerse myself in a market that operates differently, challenges conventional thinking, and offers a front-row seat to global business shifts.

JET IT Services stood out because it operates at the intersection of technology and international business. The company supports global firms in China, ensuring their IT systems align with both local and international standards. This role isn’t just about sales or research—it’s about understanding business needs and translating them into real solutions.

During my internship, I aim to develop a structured approach to business development, from market research to lead generation and client engagement. My goal is clear: bring tangible results while learning how to navigate business dynamics in China.

Outside of work, I have a deep passion for the automotive industry. Whether it’s understanding market trends, following innovations in electric vehicles, or simply appreciating great engineering, cars have always been more than just machines to me.
