I’m Sjoerd Janssen, originally from the Netherlands but deeply connected to China, where I’ve spent nearly half my life. My adventure here started in 2014 when I moved for school, navigating both middle and high school before diving into a unique university program that bridges China and Europe. Studying at Emlyon Business School and East China Normal University (ECNU) has given me a global perspective, blending European business acumen with the rapid, ever-evolving Chinese market.

Now, I’m sharpening my skills in Marketing and Sales at JET IT Services, where I get a front-row seat to the complexities of growing a business in China. JET IT specializes in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT management, helping international companies tackle regulatory and operational challenges. My role isn’t just about marketing services—it’s about positioning them strategically in a market that never stands still. It’s a hands-on crash course in how technology, strategy, and business development intersect on a global scale.

One of the areas I’m most excited about is SEO, learning how to enhance JET IT’s online presence and drive business growth through digital strategies. I’m also diving into the dynamic relationship between sales and marketing, exploring how these two functions fuel business expansion and shape a company’s success.

Beyond the world of IT, I have a deep passion for racing. The speed, the strategy, the cutting-edge technology. I love analyzing how teams push the limits of innovation to gain a competitive edge, and that same drive for precision and performance inspires me in my professional journey.
